Security upgrades for Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services

A re-elected Morrison Government will provide $163,635 to the Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services in Mirrabooka for increased security infrastructure.

Liberal candidate for Cowan, Vince Connelly, said the funding would provide important upgrades to CCTV and security locks.

“Increasing the security of organisations that provide much-needed community services is a priority for the Morrison Government,” Mr Connelly said.

“This funding builds on the $790,000 announced last week for the Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services to provide access to education resources like workshops on sexual health and family and domestic violence.

“Young women specifically will be able to access education on family and domestic violence identifiers, knowledge on their rights under Australian Law, and access to health and wellbeing services.

“Providing a safer community is part of my plan for Cowan. By delivering a strong economy, the Morrison government can continue to ensure that projects like this are funded for a stronger future.”

Only the Morrison Government has a plan to continue delivering a strong economy and a stronger future for the residents of Cowan.
