Biography

Trish was born and raised in Queensland. After marrying her South African-born husband, Paul, 25 years ago, they have lived and raised their sons in Perth for the last 21 years.

Trish boasts a varied professional background, encompassing roles in banking and finance, as well as co-founding multiple community programs and a WA-based charity. Trish served as the CEO for 7 years, making a substantial impact on thousands of families in Perth’s northern suburbs. During her tenure, Trish spearheaded the creation of a nationally recognised Job Active program targeting chronic unemployment.

Trish took this community development experience into a 3-year term, working with two Federal Government MPs.

She returned to her passion for creating economic opportunities and strengthening community development in 2019. Her consultancy group engages across the resources, primary industry and renewables sectors to create economic opportunities, particularly across the Indigenous community.

Trish has held multiple non-executive Director roles in the community services sector including a long-established Western Australian charity, Bridging the Gap and an Australia-wide nationally successful micro-enterprise development organisation, Many Rivers.
