Biography

I’m Marizane Moore, your local Liberal for Landsdale.

My husband, Ben, and I live in Hocking. We love this community and it’s where we’ve chosen to raise our family.

I grew up on a sugar cane farm in South Africa. After a fire destroyed our home in 2005, my family and I immigrated to Australia. We first settled in Albany before moving to Landsdale, and through these experiences, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the strength and support local communities provide when times are tough.

I’m passionate about connecting with people, listening to their needs, and ensuring government action leads to practical, real-world outcomes. That’s why I served as a local councillor for the City of Wanneroo and continue to advocate on the WA Local Government Association.

With 50,000 new homes set to be built in the East Wanneroo District, we need strong advocacy for better infrastructure. Families in Landsdale are feeling the pressure of rising energy costs and living expenses, and it’s important we continue to support kids’ sports, keep car registration affordable, and address cost-of-living issues.

I’m fighting for better health services, increased police resources, and supporting businesses to create more jobs, all to make Landsdale an even better place to live and raise a family.

I have the energy and experience to represent you in the State Parliament.
