Biography

I’m Liam Staltari, your Member for Carine. My wife Liz and I live locally in Duncraig and love everything about our coastal community. I am committed to making it even better.

I am motivated by the importance of family, hard work and community service. These values were instilled in me growing up on my family’s citrus orchard with my Italian grandparents, my nonna and nonno.

Protecting our beaches, bushland and parks, and investing in local community infrastructure – including facilities for our seniors, sporting groups and young people – are key priorities for me.

As a member of the Liberal team, I’m also fighting for cost of living relief for local families, better access to health services, more resources for local police, and support for local businesses to create jobs.

I work in the mining industry and have previous experience in the energy sector and government, where I brought people together to deliver major projects.

I’m also passionate about giving back through my involvement in a range of local groups, as well as serving on the board of Awards WA, which administers the Duke of Edinburgh Award and helps young people achieve their potential.

Now, I want to use these skills to serve our community. I have the energy and experience to be a strong and effective voice for you in the State Parliament. Let’s work together to make our community even better.
